KT Holds Lottery Event for 10,000 Preferred Numbers... Available to Budget Phone Users as Well

KT is conducting a lottery event for 10,000 preferred numbers until the 2nd of next month. Preferred numbers refer to the last four digits of a mobile phone number that are easy to identify and highly favored by customers.

The preferred numbers available for entry this time include a total of 10,000 numbers in formats such as AAAA, 000A, A000, AA00, 00AA, ABAB, ABCD, ABCD-ABCD, as well as numbers with specific meanings like 1004. Each person can enter up to three numbers.

The most popular type in last year’s lottery event was the ‘ABCD-ABCD’ format, where the area code and the last digits are the same.

Entries can be made by visiting a nearby KT agency or plaza, or through the official KT website and the mobile customer center application. Not only KT customers but also users of other carriers and MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) can participate.

The winning results will be announced on the 8th of next month, and winning customers can register and use their winning numbers until the 27th of next month. Preferred numbers cannot be transferred to others, and customers who are currently using a preferred number or have won a preferred number within the past year are not eligible to enter.
