Jindo-gun Signs Agricultural and Marine Products Distribution Agreement with Korea Post Business Promotion Agency

Support for Market Access in the 'Our Neighborhood Distribution Channel Development Project'

Jindo County in Jeollanam-do signed a business agreement with the Korea Post Business Promotion Agency on the 16th to establish distribution channels for Jindo agricultural and marine products.

According to the county on the 17th, Song Gwan-ho, president of the Korea Post Business Promotion Agency, attended the agreement ceremony to promote the 2023 Jindo County Our Neighborhood Distribution Channel Establishment Project.

The Our Neighborhood Distribution Channel Establishment Project aims to build distribution channels at the neighborhood level where excellent products can be produced and consumed, thereby pioneering sales channels for local small business owners and revitalizing the local economy.

The county was finally selected in May and secured a project budget of 840 million KRW, including 600 million KRW in national funds.

The business agreement aims for Jindo County and the Korea Post Business Promotion Agency to mutually cooperate to expand distribution channels and activate online sales of Jindo regional products.

It also includes key activities such as using the post office shopping mall for △ sales planning exhibitions △ advertising through various promotional channels △ live commerce and other broadcast sales promotions.

County Governor Kim Hee-su said, “We requested active support so that Jindo County’s agricultural and marine products can be sold to over 2,500 post offices nationwide and 3 million post office shopping customers,” adding, “The county will also do its best to secure various sales channels for excellent agricultural and marine products to lead to increased real income for residents.”
