Open Recruitment for Executive Director at Gumi Urban Corporation

Gumi Urban Corporation in Gyeongbuk is publicly recruiting an executive director.

Gumi Urban Corporation, which held its inauguration ceremony on the 10th to mark a new beginning, announced that it is seeking executive candidates with extensive experience and professional capabilities to contribute to the welfare of citizens and the development of the local community.

To ensure a fair and transparent executive recruitment process, Gumi Urban Corporation formed an Executive Recommendation Committee consisting of seven external experts recommended by Gumi City, the City Council, and the corporation's board of directors. In the first meeting, the committee finalized the qualifications for candidates and the evaluation criteria for the public recruitment plan.

Accordingly, the recruitment announcement will be made from the 16th until October 31, and applications will be accepted during the same period.

The Executive Recommendation Committee will conduct document screening and interviews based on objective procedures and criteria stipulated by relevant laws and regulations. They will recommend two suitable candidates to the president of Gumi Urban Corporation, who will appoint the final candidate.

The term of the executive director is three years from the date of appointment. Eligibility requirements include not falling under the disqualification criteria for executives specified in Article 60 of the Local Public Enterprises Act.
