Kyochon F&B and Doosan Robotics Sign Business Agreement for 'Chicken Robot'

Kyochon F&B announced on the 16th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Doosan Robotics to expand the 'Chicken Robot Solution.'

The signing ceremony held on the 12th at Bundang Doosan Tower in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province was attended by Song Jong-hwa, Vice Chairman of Kyochon F&B, Yoon Jin-ho, CEO of Kyochon F&B, Park In-won, CEO of Doosan Robotics, and other officials.


Through this MOU, Kyochon plans to commercialize the collaborative robot frying solution for the chicken frying process and actively work to improve store operation efficiency and increase profits. To this end, the collaborative robot frying solution will be installed at the headquarters in Osan, Gyeonggi Province within this month, and the company aims to gradually introduce the solution to stores nationwide while actively promoting its effectiveness to franchise owners.


Doosan Robotics' collaborative robot frying solution can operate six frying baskets simultaneously, frying up to 24 chickens per hour, thus offering high productivity. Additionally, it is installed on top of the fryer, maximizing space utilization, and has advantages such as easy oil replacement and floor cleaning. Kyochon plans to enhance uniform chicken taste as well as store operation and work efficiency with the collaborative robot frying solution.


Vice Chairman Song said, “This agreement was made to provide a safer and more efficient store environment for franchise owners operating Kyochon,” adding, “Furthermore, we will do our best to increase satisfaction with the Kyochon brand by delivering consistent taste and improved service to customers.”
