Gyeongnam Residents' Day, NC Dinos Celebrate ... Final Home Game Discounts and Autograph Session

Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 12th that NC Dinos will promote discounted baseball tickets and events to commemorate the re-designation of Gyeongnam Residents' Day.

According to Gyeongnam Province, the commemorative discounts and events will take place during the NC Dinos' final home game of the season at Changwon NC Park at 2 p.m. on the 15th.

On that day, NC Dinos will play their 2023 season home finale against the Samsung Lions.

Gyeongnam Province and NC Dinos planned the ‘Gyeongnam Residents and Dinos Thank You DAY’ event linked to the NC home finale to celebrate and promote October 14, Gyeongnam Residents' Day, which was revived after being abolished in 1993 for 30 years.

On that day, Gyeongnam residents can purchase infield tickets, normally priced around 20,000 won, for 10,000 won, limited to one ticket per person.

When purchasing on-site, identification proving the address in Gyeongnam Province must be presented.

Various events such as autograph sessions with players Park Se-hyuk, Martin, Kim Young-gyu, and Ryu Jin-wook, ground catch ball, and victory high-fives will also be held.

Event winners will be selected through prior applications submitted via the NC Dinos app or website.

The ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by a family with ten siblings, who were invited as distinguished residents honored at the first Gyeongnam Residents' Day ceremony.

Jang Su-hwan, Public Relations Officer of Gyeongsangnam-do, said, “Through continuous cooperation with NC Dinos, opportunities for residents to enjoy sports culture are expanding, and the awareness of Gyeongnam Province’s policies is increasing. Based on this excellent collaboration, we will pursue more diverse cooperative projects with NC Dinos next year and steadily expand the promotion of key provincial policies by joining forces with various organizations.”

Earlier, on August 4, Gyeongnam Province signed a win-win cooperation agreement with NC Dinos to promote provincial policies using advertising media within NC Dinos’ home stadium, Changwon NC Park.

They promised to strengthen communication with residents through collaboration with the team and support NC Dinos’ social contribution activities to help expand residents’ opportunities to enjoy sports.

Currently, Changwon NC Park uses LED boards and electronic billboards to promote key provincial policies such as the establishment of the Space Aviation Agency.

On last Liberation Day, continuous cooperative projects were carried out, including supporting home game attendance by inviting veterans’ organizations in the province through NC Dinos’ social contribution activities.

A provincial official anticipated that this event, conducted as part of the win-win cooperation agreement, will be an occasion to celebrate Gyeongsangnam-do growing together with Gyeongnam residents and NC Dinos.
