Israeli Military Spokesperson: "Over 400 Palestinian Armed Fighters Killed"

The Israeli military reported that it has killed more than 400 Palestinian militants who entered its territory.

On the 8th (local time), Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated, "During the clashes that began yesterday in southern Israel and the Gaza Strip, we killed over 400 Palestinian terrorists and captured dozens."

He added, "Fighting is still ongoing in some kibbutzim, and searches are underway in many cities to locate Palestinian armed forces. There is now no city where Israeli soldiers have not entered."

Spokesperson Hagari said, "The mission of the Israeli military is to evacuate all residents from Israeli cities bordering the Gaza Strip, end the fighting on Israeli territory, restore the damaged security barrier, and continuously strike terrorist facilities in the Gaza Strip."

The Palestinian armed faction Hamas launched thousands of rockets and infiltrated hundreds of militants into Israel the previous morning.
