On the 6th, Seol Young-woo met with reporters at a training ground near the Huanglong Sports Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, and said, "The final against Japan is left, and no matter how much I think about it, there are so many reasons why we must win, and we have the confidence that we can win, so we will definitely put the gold medal around our necks." When asked what the many reasons to win were, he added, "It's just that the opponent is Japan. That alone is enough reason to win no matter what."

If Korea defeats Japan in the final this time, they will achieve a three-peat at the Asian Games. Seol Young-woo emphasized, "The biggest strength of our team is that there is not much difference no matter who goes in to play. Since we have done rotation really well since the group stage, our players have a lot of energy left compared to other teams, and there are no physical problems at all."

Seol Young-woo conveyed the team atmosphere, saying, "Eom Won-sang is in a situation where we need to check his physical condition, and I also dislocated my shoulder, but those parts seem to be okay." He continued, "Every player came here with the mindset that it has to be first place or nothing. Honestly, if it's not first place, I think this tournament has no meaning."
