Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held the '2023 Village Lifelong Education Leader Training Completion Ceremony' on the 3rd at the second-floor meeting room of the Yeongyang-eup Administrative Welfare Center.
The 'Village Lifelong Education Leader Training Course' was conducted for a total of 10 sessions and 30 hours every Wednesday and Friday from August 30 to October 6. The course was filled with content such as ▲the role of village lifelong education leaders ▲strengthening resident leadership capabilities ▲comparative visits to lifelong learning cities, delivered by a team of expert instructors including current university professors and lifelong education specialists.
On October 4, during the 9th session, an exam for the Level 2 Village Lifelong Education Leader certification was conducted for those students who wished to take it. At this completion ceremony, 18 individuals who completed the village lifelong education leader training course received their certificates.
Kim Yongjae, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Province Village Lifelong Education Leaders Association, said, “I hope that leaders who will lead village lifelong education are nurtured, spreading the culture of lifelong learning in the region and realizing more flexible lifelong learning.”
Ahn Hyoseon, Director of the Administrative Welfare Bureau, expressed, “I sincerely thank those who participated in the village lifelong education leader training and hope that you will work to revitalize lifelong education in Yeongyang-gun based on this training.”
