The Distribution Data Utilization Competition was organized to discover innovative ideas that can help the small and medium distribution and logistics industry field. The support areas consisted of the Business Idea category and the Data Modeling category.
This year, a total of 140 teams participated, including 85 teams in the Data Modeling category. Four teams were selected based on industrial applicability, creativity of data analysis techniques, and concreteness of the derivation process.
The "Gangha Jeontu" team, composed of four Asia Economy trainees, achieved the honor of winning the Excellence Award in the Data Modeling category. The Gangha Jeontu team proposed a solution that builds an online distribution platform using big data analysis and artificial intelligence technology to quickly respond to trend changes, provide customized information, and recommend products.
Notably, despite all team members being non-IT majors, they demonstrated this achievement by leveraging the creative ideas and planning skills based on the technologies learned in the big data training course operated by Asia Economy.
Team leader Gang Saerom of Gangha Jeontu said, "I started studying not long ago after learning about the K-Digital Training program, so I did not expect to win an award, but I am happy that the time spent working hard and thinking with my team members has borne fruit." She added, "This award is a result achieved by making good use of each team member's major knowledge and strengths in ideas, planning, analysis, and design."
Meanwhile, the Asia Economy Education Center, which produced the award-winning team, was selected as an excellent institution this year as a K-Digital Training training organization.
