Attorney Park Seok-il (53, Judicial Research and Training Institute class 34), a former prosecutor, was appointed as chief prosecutor, and attorneys Lee Hyun-joo (40, class 43), a former Gongsoocheo investigator, and Choi Jang-woo (37, 4th Bar Exam), an attorney at the law firm LKBN Partners, were each appointed as prosecutors.

Chief Prosecutor Park graduated from the Department of Philosophy at Sogang University. After completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute, he was commissioned as a prosecutor at the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors' Office Goyang Branch in 2005, then served as a prosecutor at the Jeju, Changwon, and Suwon District Prosecutors' Offices. From December 2011 to January 2013, he worked as a prosecutor in the Supreme Prosecutors' Office's Criminal Investigation Department. He left the prosecution after serving as a prosecutor at the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office in 2013 and began practicing as an attorney.

Prosecutor Lee graduated from the Department of Law at Korea University. After completing the Judicial Research and Training Institute in 2014, she worked as an attorney at law firms including Dongshin, and has been working as a Gongsoocheo investigator since October 2021. Lee is the third investigator from Gongsoocheo to be appointed as a prosecutor, following prosecutors Kim Ji-yoon and Yoon Sang-hyuk.

Prosecutor Choi graduated from Seoul National University and Seoul National University of Science and Technology Law School. After passing the 4th Bar Exam in 2015, he served as a public interest attorney at the Korea Legal Aid Corporation and the Ministry of Justice's National Litigation Division. Since 2018, he has worked as an attorney at the law firm LKBN Partners.

Gongsoocheo held a Personnel Committee meeting on July 21 to comprehensively review candidates' political neutrality, investigative capabilities, and other qualifications required for prosecutors, recommended candidates, and recently completed the President's final approval process.

Gongsoocheo is currently conducting an additional recruitment process to fill the one remaining vacant prosecutor position.
