[Weather] Chilly Gaecheonjeol Morning... Large Temperature Difference and Rain in Some Areas

On the 3rd, National Foundation Day, there will be a large temperature difference nationwide, and rain is expected in the southern regions and Jeju.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, morning temperatures ranged from 9 to 19 degrees Celsius. As of 8 a.m., Seoul was 15.8°C, Incheon 16.6°C, Daejeon 13.6°C, Gwangju 17°C, Daegu 13.6°C, Ulsan 15°C, and Busan 19.1°C. The daytime high temperature is forecasted to be between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius. Most areas will experience a large temperature difference of 10 to 15 degrees between day and night.

Clouds will be widespread across the country, and as a trough moves into the southern regions, rain is expected in the southern areas and Jeju. Rain will begin in Jeju and Jeollanam-do from the morning, and in Gyeongsangnam-do from midday, continuing until late afternoon. Precipitation is forecasted to be around 5 mm.

Until this day, the lunar gravitational force is strong, causing high sea levels, so low-lying areas such as the west coast, south coast, and Jeju coast should be cautious of high tides.

Rain is expected to start from the afternoon of the 4th in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, and Chungcheong regions. After the rain, cold air will descend from the northwest, making the weather chilly.
