4-0 Victory over Singapore Zengjian
Shin Yubin, the leading star of Korean table tennis (Korean Air), advanced to the quarterfinals of the women's singles event at the Asian Games.
On the morning of the 29th, at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China, Shin Yubin won decisively 4-0 (11-7, 11-9, 11-5, 11-2) against Singapore's Zeng Jian in the round of 16 of the women's singles table tennis event at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
From the first set, Shin Yubin succeeded with fast attacks and led 17-11. In the second set, although Zeng Jian mounted a comeback and led 6-8, Shin quickly scored points in the latter part to reverse the score and win 11-7.

Continuing the good momentum in the third and fourth sets, Shin Yubin ultimately won all four sets cleanly to advance to the quarterfinals.
Shin Yubin is also continuing her journey toward a gold medal in doubles. The women's doubles team, partnering with Jeon Jihee (Mirae Asset Securities), will play their round of 16 match at 5:00 PM, and the mixed doubles team, paired with Lim Jonghoon (Korea Exchange), will compete in the semifinals at 8:55 PM.
