‘Golf Emperor’ Tiger Woods (USA)'s son Charlie (14) broke his personal lowest score record. On the 26th (local time), CNN and others reported, "Charlie shot 6-under-par 66 in the final second round of the 14-15 age group regional qualifier for the Nota Vegei III Junior Championship held last week at Mission Hills in Orlando, Florida, USA (par 72)." This surpassed his previous personal best of 68 strokes over 18 holes.
Charlie, whose bag was carried by Woods for the second consecutive year, made 9 birdies and 3 bogeys that day. With a total of 7-under-par 137 strokes over two rounds, he won and will participate in the finals held this November at Coahati Pines in Coushatta, Louisiana. Charlie said, "I really enjoyed being together every time I took a shot with my father," and introduced, "My father always teaches me to focus. When I talk about the next shot, he says, ‘No, focus on this shot now. This shot is what we have to do.’"
