"Loser in Power Struggle, Camp Collapses" Lee Jae-myung Likes Yoo Si-min's Support on Instagram
Former Roh Moo-hyun Foundation Chairman Yoo Si-min expressed support for Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, regarding the approval of the arrest motion, saying, "He should run for office from prison and also approve matters from prison."
On the 22nd, Yoo, during the '1st Anniversary Public Broadcast of the Roh Moo-hyun Citizen Center,' argued that even if Lee is detained, he should not step down from his position as party leader. Yoo said, "Even if a warrant is issued and he goes to the detention center, he should apply for a detention review, request bail, and keep fighting," adding, "Stay strong, Jaemyung."
He continued, "This is basically a battle of wills. If you lose the battle of wills, your camp collapses at that moment," and speculated, "Jeong Cheong-rae, the Supreme Council member, said that the party nomination certificate will be issued in Lee Jae-myung's name, so I see this as a sign of that."

Yoo also strongly criticized the current government, saying, "Try to imprison Lee Jae-myung. Whether you threaten judges behind the scenes or whatever, try to imprison him," and added, "Do you think you will win by doing that? Do you think it will be over if Lee Jae-myung dies?"
The video of Yoo's remarks was later posted with subtitles on Instagram Reels (short video content), and Lee's official Instagram account was shown to have 'liked' the video. This is interpreted as Lee expressing his intention not to step down from the party leadership even if detention is decided.
Meanwhile, on the 21st, the arrest motion was approved at the National Assembly plenary session, and Lee is set to undergo a warrant hearing (pre-arrest suspect interrogation). Earlier, the prosecution had requested a pre-arrest warrant for Lee regarding allegations of preferential treatment in the Baekhyeon-dong development and suspicious remittances to North Korea involving Ssangbangwool.
Lee's warrant hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on the 26th.
