Hwasun-gun Signs Business Agreement for Building Digital Safety Infrastructure

Hwasun Police Station and KT Gwangju Branch Mutual Cooperation Contributes to Building Community Safety Network

On the 21st, Hwasun County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that it signed a business agreement with Hwasun Police Station and KT Gwangju Branch to establish a digital safety infrastructure.


The signing ceremony was attended by Gu Bok-gyu, the governor of Hwasun County, Park Woong, chief of Hwasun Police Station, Yoon Kyung-ha, head of KT Gwangju Branch, as well as about 10 officials from the county office, police station departments, and KT employees.

Hwasun-gun Signs Business Agreement for Building Digital Safety Infrastructure

This agreement was prepared to mutually cooperate and develop in order to successfully build a digital safety and security infrastructure for the safety and convenience of the county residents.


Through this business agreement, KT Gwangju Branch will provide free support for the dry cost of communication poles for internet service provision (up to 250M) and a 6-month usage fee for AI CCTV.


Additionally, any Hwasun county resident wishing to install CCTV can receive these benefits.


Governor Gu Bok-gyu said, “I hope that through this agreement, residents who have not been able to install CCTV in places like vinyl greenhouses or livestock barns due to initial installation costs and usage fees will receive support,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to create a safe living environment for residents and establish safety infrastructure in the local community.”
