NIA, Discussion on 'Digital-Based Solutions for Social Issues'
Exploring Responses to Real Estate, Youth, and Regional Extinction
Attempts are being made to solve the pressing issues faced by our society based on digital technology.
The National Information Society Agency (NIA) announced that it will hold the "Discussion on Solutions to Social Issues Based on Digital Technology" at the NIA Seoul Office on the 26th.
This discussion aims to discover and present national social issue resolution tasks through digital technology in line with NIA's mission of "solving social issues through ICT," and to provide a platform for sharing opinions to raise social awareness.
In particular, it is co-hosted with the Korean Association for Policy Studies, the Korean Association for Policy Analysis and Evaluation, and the Korean Society for Regional Informatization, involving stakeholders of social issues as well as experts from industry, academia, and research.
The discussion will be organized into three sessions by social issue topics, covering ▲Implementation plans for a digital-based safe real estate transaction system ▲Support measures for youth preparing for independence based on digital technology ▲Digital responses to regional extinction.
In the session on implementing a digital-based safe real estate transaction system, various policy measures through full digital transformation will be presented to prevent real estate lease fraud.
The session on support measures for youth preparing for independence will discuss digital-based support plans to help these youths grow into healthy members of society.
In the session on regional extinction and digital responses, cases and implications of digital technology integration promoted by NIA to address the risk of regional extinction will be introduced, and the role of digital technology and policy tasks for sustainable balanced development will be discussed.
Starting with this discussion, NIA plans to continuously hold forums to discover major social issues in various fields.
