Gwangju Bank announced on the 21st that it visited the local hometown unit, the 31st Infantry Division, to deliver 10 million won in consolation money in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
Ko Byung-il, President of Gwangju Bank, said, “We express our gratitude to the hometown unit soldiers who always work hard to defend the local territory, allowing the local residents to spend the Chuseok holiday with peace of mind.”
He added, “As the representative bank of Gwangju and Jeonnam, we pledge to take the lead in social contribution activities and financial support for mutual growth with the region.”
Gwangju Bank visits the 31st Infantry Division every year before the holidays to express gratitude to the soldiers.
