Gyeongnam Police Agency Conducts Search and Seizure at 'Pharmacy Suspected of Being Run by Office Manager' ... 9 People Booked

The Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency apprehended individuals involved in a so-called 'suspected office manager pharmacy' established by a person who is not a pharmacist.

The Anti-Corruption Division 2 of the Metropolitan Investigation Unit at the Provincial Police Agency announced on the 21st that nine people, including pharmacist A in their 40s, were booked without detention on charges of violating the Pharmacists Act.

According to Article 20 of the Pharmacists Act, a pharmacy can only be established by a pharmacist or a traditional Korean medicine pharmacist, and Article 21 states that a pharmacist or traditional Korean medicine pharmacist can only open one pharmacy.
