GC Green Cross Launches Herbal Blood Tonic 'Nokshipja Gyeongokgo'

GC Green Cross announced on the 21st that it will newly launch 'Green Cross Gyeongokgo,' a traditional herbal blood-nourishing and tonic medicine formulated using the Donguibogam prescription and advanced scientific technology.

Green Cross Gyeongokgo is an over-the-counter traditional herbal blood-nourishing tonic that can help with physical fatigue and strengthening weak constitutions. Gyeongokgo means "a precious medicine like jade," and its efficacy has been highly praised since the Joseon Dynasty when the famous physician Heo Jun described it as a sacred medicine.

Green Cross Gyeongokgo underwent thorough quality control regarding its appearance, content, heavy metals, and pesticides. The added honey is sourced from ingredients verified by carbon isotope measurement methods. Additionally, freshly squeezed raw Rehmannia glutinosa juice is used, and ginseng and Poria cocos are ultra-finely ground to enhance the intake experience. Fructooligosaccharides are also added to improve convenience, and notably, no preservatives or stabilizers are used.

The company also stated that it maximized the implementation of Donguibogam's prescription by automating temperature control and cleaning systems, including 120 hours of heating, cooling, and reheating, using a self-designed aging tank.
