Emergency Housing Support for Households in Housing Crisis 'Bucheon Ansim Dream'... Promoted with Hwang Hee-chan's Sponsorship Fund

Bucheon Hope Foundation and LH Gyeonggi Southern Headquarters Sign Business Agreement

Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province has laid the groundwork to support households facing housing crises in collaboration with local organizations.

On the 21st, the city announced that it signed the 'Bucheon Anshim Dream (Dream) Housing Business Agreement' with the Bucheon Hope Foundation and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Southern Gyeonggi Headquarters to establish a rapid and systematic housing welfare support system for households in housing crisis.

Bucheon Anshim Dream Housing is a project that provides temporary housing free of charge for up to six months to households facing eviction risks due to rent arrears, disaster-affected households such as those impacted by floods or fires, and households unable to live in their current residence due to rental fraud.

Through this agreement, each organization agreed to cooperate in providing emergency support housing to vulnerable housing groups and offering customized housing welfare services to residents. They will also strengthen a permanent cooperation system for rapid and immediate response to vulnerable housing groups.

Notably, this project is planned to be promoted using sponsorship funds donated by Hwang Hee-chan, a national soccer team player (Wolverhampton Wanderers), for his hometown Bucheon, drawing attention.

Hwang Won-kyung, father of player Hwang who attended the agreement ceremony, expressed his thoughts, saying, "I am glad to be part of this good cause that quickly supports housing for those who have lost their place to stay due to various difficulties."

Jo Yong-ik, mayor of Bucheon, said, "We expect the Bucheon Anshim Dream Housing project to become a ladder of hope for citizens facing sudden housing crisis situations."
