Vident, a developer and manufacturer of high-performance HD video equipment needed for digital broadcasting and professional video markets, participated in IBC2023 (International Broadcasting Convention) held in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with the launch of new products after three years.
A Vident representative stated on the 20th, “We participated in the world’s largest broadcasting equipment exhibition, IBC2023, held at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from September 15 to 18 (local time). For the first time in four years since COVID-19, we operated an independent booth and received a flood of love call inquiries through meaningful meetings with customers worldwide.”
IBC 2023, the most prestigious broadcasting equipment exhibition in the world, attracts influential stakeholders from next-generation industries such as global media and entertainment. According to the exhibition organizers, this year, about 1,250 companies from over 170 countries participated, and more than 40,000 visitors attended, including spectators.
At IBC 2023, Vident participated with its own TVLogic independent booth. The booth was packed with global buyers and visitors from countries including the Netherlands, India, T?rkiye, Portugal, and Italy, creating a bustling crowd with no space to spare.
The new products that Vident TVLogic introduced after three years are the LXM series, consisting of six models: LXM-180U, 180P, 240U, 240P, 320P, and 550U. Except for the LXM-180U, all models are equipped with a 3840x2160 UHD panel.
It is explained that Vident is the only domestic broadcasting equipment manufacturer with technological capabilities comparable to Japan’s SONY. Moreover, the new LXM series is equipped with the world’s first quad multiview function that divides one screen into four and can display four UHD videos input through 12G-SDI.
A Vident representative said, “The new products introduced this time have significantly improved in all aspects, including screen switching speed and image quality, compared to previous generation products, and have received continuous praise from multinational companies, leading to new contract inquiries. We will continue strategic sales activities targeting the global market to ensure that new products lead to business orders.”
Meanwhile, the new LXM series introduced by Vident TVLogic was showcased as a prototype at the world’s largest international broadcasting equipment exhibition ‘NAB 2023’ held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the United States in January this year, and at the 31st International Broadcasting, Media, Audio, and Lighting Exhibition ‘KOBA 2023’ held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, in May, receiving favorable reviews from visitors. At this IBC2023, it was presented as a more stabilized finished product, signing more contracts compared to the previous year, which is expected to positively impact performance improvement in the second half of the year.
