Excellent Distance with GFF HD Method and HIT Application
Mizuno Pro 241 Ultimate Impact Feel Muscle Back Design
Pro 243 Cavity, Pro 245 Hollow Structure
"A more refined head design with a more powerful hitting feel."
These are the three types of 2024 Mizuno Pro series irons. The head design is simpler and sleeker compared to the previous model. The proprietary forging technology, Grain Flow Forged (GFF) HD, enhances both the hitting feel and distance performance. By applying Harmonic Impact Technology (HIT), which adjusts the iron’s impact sound, the sound pressure in the high-frequency range is reduced, allowing for a pleasant tactile sensation.
The Mizuno Pro 241 is a muscle-back iron based on feedback from PGA Tour players. It elevates tour-level control performance, hitting feel, and design. It uses carefully selected pure mild steel 1025E material with carbon and impurity content below 0.3%. The short iron heads are designed shorter to improve control performance. The nickel-chrome plating and satin finishing on the head’s exterior reduce glare.
The Mizuno Pro 243 is a compact-sized shallow cavity line. It features a face thickness 0.3mm thinner than the previous model to enhance rebound performance. A new flow micro-slot structure is adopted for each head number, allowing trajectory and distance adjustment. The loft intervals of the short irons are finely tuned to improve consistent distance gaps by number.
The Mizuno Pro 245 is a hollow construction model. The core-tech face, which is thick in the center and thin around the edges, is the key feature. It improves rebound consistency even on mishits. Tungsten weights weighing 47g, increased by 1.6 times, are placed in irons 4 through 7. This achieves a deep and low center of gravity, making it easier to launch the ball. An event is held where a new T24 wedge is given as a gift with the purchase of irons.
