An exhibition of crafts will be held for six days from the 13th at the 4th Exhibition Hall of Seongsan Art Hall in Changwon.

The opening ceremony of the "13th Changwon City Crafts Exhibition," hosted by Changwon City, Gyeongnam Special City and organized by the Changwon City Crafts Association, was held on the 13th at Seongsan Art Hall with about 100 attendees including Ha Jongmok, the 1st Deputy Mayor of Changwon City, Yeom Younghee, president of the Changwon City Crafts Association, and members of the crafts association.

This exhibition features over 200 special works by members of the Changwon City Crafts Association, including award-winning pieces from the Gyeongsangnam-do Crafts Competition. It provides an opportunity to experience both traditional beauty and modern sensibility through the display of excellent crafts produced locally.

Additionally, a hands-on event is prepared for visitors to make eco-bags using natural dyes, and some crafts will be sold through a bazaar. The proceeds from the bazaar will be used to help neighbors in need at the end of the year.

The Changwon City Crafts Association, which organized this exhibition, was established in 2010 by artisans from the Changwon, Masan, and Jinhae areas. Since then, it has actively participated in the Gyeongsangnam-do Crafts Competition and the Korea Crafts Competition, achieving excellent results while engaging in various creative activities.

Deputy Mayor Ha said, "This exhibition will offer a special experience for people of all ages to enjoy crafts," adding, "I hope many people will appreciate the works, try making crafts themselves, and give them as gifts, serving as an opportunity for the craft industry to further develop."
