China 45.8%, US 20.1%, Japan 2.2% in Order
Parnas Hotel Jeju announced on the 13th that the proportion of foreigners among total reservations this year (January to August) has risen to an average of 12%. This represents nearly a sixfold increase compared to last year's average of 2.1%.
In June, when the foreigner reservation rate was the highest this year, it even increased to 20%. The highest rate in 2022 was 4.7% in November. By nationality, China accounted for the largest share at 45.8%, followed by the United States at 20.1%, Japan at 2.2%, and others at 32%.
Parnas Hotel Jeju stated, "Among the luxury hotels in Jungmun, it is located closest to the sea and is just a 5-minute walk from Jungmun Saekdal Haeju Beach, known as a surfing sanctuary, which has been a strong point for foreign customers." They added, "About 40% of the total 307 rooms are ocean-view rooms that offer a 180-degree panoramic view of the sea, which is also a popular factor."
Among domestic hotels, the 110-meter-long outdoor infinity pool is the longest and offers a view where the pool surface and the horizon meet. The 'Estuary Pool' is designed to accommodate up to 240 people simultaneously. It operates as a heated pool year-round. There is also a 20-meter indoor pool, a toddler pool for young children, a jacuzzi, and a dry dock.
Parnas Hotel Jeju’s 'Pondmer Lounge & Deli,' famous as the filming location of the drama 'King the Land,' which gained popularity overseas, also attracts guests with its grand spatial impression created by a ceiling height of 30 meters.
