Son Heung-min, a soccer player currently serving as a brand ambassador for Samsung Electronics' Galaxy brand, has attracted attention for showing loyalty. When fans brought Apple iPhones asking him to take selfies, he politely declined.

On the 11th (local time), a video of Son Heung-min interacting with fans was uploaded on the short-form video streaming platform TikTok. In the video, a female fan takes out her iPhone and asks Son Heung-min to take a photo. After checking the device model, Son Heung-min politely declines with his hands clasped together. The female fan appears momentarily surprised but then takes the iPhone herself and takes a photo of Son Heung-min.

In another video, a fan holding a uniform with Son Heung-min's jersey number hands him a Samsung Galaxy smartphone and requests a photo. Son Heung-min gladly takes the fan's Galaxy phone and presses the shutter button himself. During this, he also mentions, "The photo is taken very close."

At the bottom of the video, a caption explains, "Son Heung-min cannot hold an iPhone due to his contract with Samsung. If you want Son Heung-min to take a selfie with you, please bring a Samsung Galaxy phone."

The video quickly became a hot topic, receiving over 1,600 comments within a day. Fans who saw the video expressed deep admiration for Son Heung-min's professionalism. Comments included, "Son Heung-min kept his loyalty to Samsung," "His professionalism is exceptional," and "His polite request for understanding from fans is also likable."

British media also focused on this side of Son Heung-min. The local outlet Daily Mail emphasized, "This video means that fans without Samsung phones must take selfies themselves when meeting the Tottenham star." The football media Sports Bible evaluated, "Son Heung-min wants to maintain good relationships with sponsors" and "He handled the difficult situation skillfully."

Son Heung-min was selected as a Galaxy brand ambassador in July. Since then, he has been actively promoting the Galaxy brand.
