The Seoul Foreign Exchange Market will be closed on October 2nd, which is a temporary holiday.
The Seoul Foreign Exchange Market Operation Council announced on the 11th, "The foreign exchange market through foreign exchange brokerage companies will be closed on October 2nd, designated as a temporary holiday."
Earlier, the government confirmed October 2nd as a temporary holiday during the emergency economic and livelihood meeting chaired by President Yoon Seok-yeol on August 31st. The government stated that the purpose of the designation is to guarantee citizens' right to rest, stimulate domestic demand, and encourage visits to hometowns during the Chuseok holiday.
