Kim Sang-hee and Lee Bok-hyun sue the Corruption Investigation Office... "Political plot to tarnish the Democratic Party"

"Ibokhyun, Consistently Sticking to Lies"

Kim Sang-hee, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea who is suspected of receiving 'preferential redemptions' related to the Lime Fund, announced on the 7th that she has filed a complaint against Lee Bok-hyun, the Governor of the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS), with the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Unit (PCC).

On the same day, Kim stated on her social media (SNS), "I hoped the FSS Governor would publicly confirm the facts as promised to me, but he consistently lied without revealing the truth," adding, "I have filed a complaint against Governor Lee with the PCC and have also filed a civil lawsuit for damages."

Earlier, the FSS announced that there were preferential redemptions before the Lime Fund redemption suspension declaration and that a 'multi-term lawmaker' was involved. Through media investigations, it was revealed that the multi-term lawmaker was Kim, but she denied the allegations via SNS, stating, "I have never received preferential redemptions," and vowed to hold the FSS accountable.

Kim said, "The recent announcement by the FSS regarding preferential redemptions related to me has been clearly exposed as a political plot by the Democratic Party to tarnish my reputation ahead of the general election," and claimed, "this incident is a ruthless political scheme by the Yoon Seok-yeol administration, where the FSS, which should establish a fair financial market order and wipe the tears of financial victims, is politically exploited by a governor with a prosecutor background, further abusing the blood, sweat, and tears of the Lime scandal victims."
