Busan Bank Signs Business Agreement for Resource Circulation Platform 'Jawon Da(多) Itda'

BNK Busan Bank signed a business agreement on the 5th at COEX in Seoul with eight organizations and companies for the office supplies reuse platform ‘Jawon Da(itda)’.


At the signing ceremony, ▲Korea Climate and Environment Network ▲National Health Insurance Service ▲Seoul Metropolitan Social Welfare Council ▲Catholic Kwandong University ▲Woori Bank ▲POSCO Wide, among others, attended to promote the circular economy.


The participating organizations and companies in this business agreement plan to raise awareness of the importance of carbon neutrality and resource circulation and collaborate on carbon reduction activities.


‘Jawon Da(itda)’ is an online resource circulation platform that collects and repairs used office furniture, electronic products, and other items generated in corporate offices, then distributes them to appropriate demand sources such as non-profit organizations and social welfare facilities, contributing to greenhouse gas reduction.

Lee Chan-il, Head of Management Support Division at Busan Bank, said, “Through this business agreement, Busan Bank will contribute to the activation of the circular economy and the practice of carbon neutrality as an eco-friendly green bank. We will continue to discover practical ESG-related projects by cooperating with various organizations and companies.”


Busan Bank has been continuously carrying out eco-friendly business activities such as ▲selling low-carbon practice savings and deposits ▲implementing zero (ZERO) days for disposable products and food waste ▲establishing a paperless business system.
