H2 MEET, Country Day with Participation of 6 Leading Hydrogen Nations Held

A platform will be provided to examine hydrogen policies and technological trends of leading hydrogen industry countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Canada, Colombia, and Australia.


The 'H2 MEET' organizing committee announced on the 6th that during the ‘H2 MEET 2023’ exhibition held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 13th, a ‘Country Day’ event featuring six global countries will take place. This is an opportunity for hydrogen representative companies from six countries to discuss the overall hydrogen industry.

On the 13th, the Netherlands and Australia will hold Country Day. Speakers from the Netherlands include Oh Jeong-kyung, CEO of Demaco Korea Agent, Zhong Chenfu, Global Ammonia Head at OCI, and Alexis Tollen Powell, Chief Business Officer.


Australian speakers include Nicole Luke, CEO of the Western Australia Mineral Resources Research Institute, Dr. Patrick Hartley, Leader of the CSIRO Energy Hydrogen Industry Delegation, and Dr. Jeremy Harris, Chief Technology Officer of CIC.


On the second day of the event, the 14th, three countries including Sweden, Canada, and Colombia will participate. Speakers include representatives from the Swedish Energy Agency, the Swedish Electromobility Centre, the Canadian Ministry of Natural Resources, the Embassy of Canada in Korea, the Alberta Government Korea Representative Office, and the Colombian Export, Tourism and Overseas Investment Promotion Agency. On the final day, the 15th, Germany will hold Country Day.


Additionally, the organizing committee will hold a Leaders Summit presenting technological and policy trends and visions for revitalizing the hydrogen economy under the theme ‘Activating the Hydrogen Economy through Cutting-edge Technology,’ as well as a Tech Talk session to grasp the latest technological trends in the global hydrogen industry.


Meanwhile, H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition held for domestic and international companies and institutions in the fields of hydrogen production, hydrogen storage and transportation, and hydrogen utilization. This year, it is expected to be the largest ever, with 303 companies and institutions from 18 countries participating.
