KLPGA-Samchully Together Dream Tree Golf Tournament Opens

7th Annual Event This Year, Held at Club72 Until the 8th
80 Middle School Participants, 176 High School Participants

The KLPGA-Samchully Together Dream Tree Tournament, co-hosted by the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) and the comprehensive energy group Samchully, has kicked off.


The tournament opened on the 4th at Club72 in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, and will run until the 8th. Established in 2015 to discover and nurture promising golf talents, this tournament was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, making this the 7th edition.

This year, 256 promising players registered, including 80 in the middle school division and 176 in the high school division. After two rounds of qualifiers over two days, 40 middle school players and 88 high school players will advance to the finals to compete for the championship trophy.


The top three players in the high school division will receive exemptions from the KLPGA associate membership practical test. The top three players overall from the combined middle and high school divisions will be granted recommendations for the KLPGA regular tour or Dream Tour. All expenses including green fees, caddie fees, and meals will be fully covered. Past champions who have reached the top in this tournament include Song Ga-eun (winner in 2015?2016), Kim Min-byeol (2019 middle school division winner), and Hong Jeong-min (2019 high school division winner).


Since 2019, Samchully has been operating the Samchully Academy for amateur players to foster junior golf talent. Additionally, Samchully has established a sports team to actively support professional players who combine skill and character. Sponsored players include Kim Hae-rim, Choi Ga-bin, Lee Jae-yoon, Go Ji-woo, Go Ji-won, Ma Da-som, Park Do-young, and Jung Ji-hyun.
