‘Green Life, Save Earth’ Practice
Commitment to Carbon Neutrality and Reducing Single-Use Products
Kim Dong-seop, President of Korea National Oil Corporation, participated in the Ministry of Environment's relay campaign, the "Single-Use Products Zero Challenge."
This challenge is a national practice movement in which public institutions, companies, organizations, and citizens pledge to reduce the use of single-use products, post their pledges on social networking services, and nominate subsequent participants.
The Oil Corporation is conducting the "Green Life, Save Earth" campaign involving all employees, through which various energy-saving and eco-friendly activities that can be practiced in daily life are being carried out.

To promote a culture of using reusable products, the Oil Corporation is encouraging the use of reusable cups in the in-house caf? and providing reusable umbrella covers at building entrances instead of plastic covers for use during rainy weather.
Additionally, to coexist with the local commercial district, the unmanned agricultural product vending stand inside the Oil Corporation headquarters offers reusable shopping bags for rent, making efforts to reduce the use of single-use products.
Furthermore, the Oil Corporation is promoting the establishment of a paperless culture, purchasing eco-friendly products, and operating Green Days to contribute to carbon neutrality.
President Kim Dong-seop stated, "I promise that all members will actively participate in carbon neutrality and reducing single-use products," and nominated Choi Yeon-hye, President of Korea Gas Corporation, as the next challenger to pass the baton.
