Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Signs Agreement with Korea University of Technology and Education to Resolve Job Mismatch Issues Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation signed an agreement for a job cooperation project with Korea University of Technology and Education at the Bucheon office on the 31st of last month. The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation has partnered with Korea University of Technology and Education to address job mismatches and collaborate on job training projects.


The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation announced on the 1st that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Employment Services and Job-related Fields" with Korea University of Technology and Education at the foundation's Bucheon office on the 31st of last month.


According to the agreement, the two institutions will cooperate in various areas including ▲providing training for foundation employees and practical training for university students ▲collaborating on human resources, technology, and facility resources ▲and promoting joint projects in areas of mutual interest.


Regarding key collaborative projects, starting this month, the foundation's career counselors will receive customized training at Korea University of Technology and Education. From November, the foundation will support on-the-job training (OJT) for students enrolled in the Level 1 Career Counselor course at Korea University of Technology and Education, and subsequently, according to schedule, support company-linked long-term field training (IPP) for students in the Department of Employment Service Policy.


As a specialized job institution, the foundation expects that collaboration with Korea University of Technology and Education, a specialized employment service education institution, will strengthen capabilities through mutual cooperation projects in the fields of jobs and employment services.


Korea University of Technology and Education is a national university established by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and it is the only university in Korea with a Department of Employment Service Policy dedicated to training employment service professionals. It operates an evaluation-based training course for Level 1 Career Counselors.
