The 2.0ℓ TDI engine equipped in the 8th generation Volkswagen Golf delivers a maximum output of 150 horsepower and a peak torque of 36.7 kg·m. It offers powerful driving performance along with high fuel efficiency. The Volkswagen Golf is officially rated at a combined fuel efficiency of 17.8 km/ℓ (15.7 km/ℓ in the city, 21.3 km/ℓ on the highway). Golf owners often express high satisfaction with real-world fuel efficiency that exceeds the official ratings.

The Golf is a model symbolizing Volkswagen, first launched in 1974. Since its release, it has achieved global sales of 36 million units as of 2022. In Korea, it has enjoyed steady popularity since the 8th generation model was introduced in 2022. The hatchback Golf has an overall length of 4285mm, optimized for urban driving. The wheelbase is 2636mm, making it comfortable for five adults to ride. The trunk capacity is 381ℓ by default and expands up to 1237ℓ when the rear seats are folded down.
