Jung-gu Office of Seoul Selects Bitseum Co., Ltd. as Redevelopment Contractor for Sindang 10 District

Shindang 10 District in Jung-gu, Seoul, is making steady progress as the 'First Project of the Rapid Integrated Planning.'

Shindang 10 District was designated as a maintenance zone in 2006 and proceeded to the approval of the project implementation plan, but the redevelopment project was canceled when it was deregulated from the maintenance zone in 2015.

However, after continuously striving without giving up on the dream of redevelopment, it was selected as a target site for Seoul's Rapid Integrated Planning in 2021, gaining momentum in progress. The site is expected to have up to 35 floors above ground and a total of 1,423 apartment units.

Since being selected as a target site for Rapid Integrated Planning, Shindang 10 District secured a 67% consent rate from landowners for designation as a maintenance zone in 2022 and over 75% consent for introducing the direct establishment system of the association. As the first project to establish an association through Rapid Integrated Planning and the direct establishment system, it is pushing forward with the goal of obtaining association establishment approval within this year.

To this end, Jung-gu Office in Seoul announced a public bid for specialized management services for the Shindang 10 District maintenance project last July. As a result of 13 companies participating in the bid, Bitseum Co., Ltd. was selected as the specialized management service provider for the Shindang 10 Housing Maintenance-type Redevelopment Project with public support.

Bitseum Co., Ltd. will support tasks related to the public-supported direct establishment of the association in Shindang 10 District.

A representative of Bitseum stated, "As the maintenance company selected for the first project of Rapid Integrated Planning, we will take responsibility and set an example. We will support the work quickly and accurately so that Shindang 10 District can smoothly obtain association establishment approval."
