Small and medium-sized enterprises and small business products from Dobong-gu are heading to Los Angeles, USA. This is to promote the products in the US market and develop sales channels.

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that on the 25th, it held a shipment ceremony for export goods for the LA Korean Festival promotional event at the Dobong-gu Office. About 10 people, including Mayor Oh Eon-seok and representatives of exporting companies, attended the event.

The shipped items include socks from eight companies of the Dobong Socks Manufacturing Association, a representative manufacturer in Dobong-gu (Daegyeong Textile, Youngpoong Textile, Woosung Textile, Yonggeon Socks, Shinhwa Textile, Wooju Textile, Hanyang Industrial, Sechan Textile), socks from Taeu Industry, and cosmetics from Umost R&D, a tenant company at Seoul Startup Hub Changdong.

The shipped products are planned to be promoted and sold at the LA Korean Festival held at Seoul International Park in LA from October 12 to 15 for four days. The LA Korean Festival is the largest representative festival in Southern California, attracting over 300,000 visitors annually, and this year it will be held under the theme "A Great Challenge Toward a New 50th Anniversary."

Dobong-gu, as the first district in Seoul to participate in the LA Korean Festival, plans to expand sales channels to overseas markets by supporting on-site and online sales, operating exhibition and sales booths, and promoting buyer export consultations.

Mayor Oh Eon-seok of Dobong-gu said, "We expect that participating in this LA Korean Festival will be a great opportunity to showcase the excellence of small and medium-sized enterprises and small business products in the region," and added, "We will continue to provide various administrative supports to help local SMEs and small businesses develop overseas markets and support exports."
