Convenience store CU announced on the 22nd that it will launch its own bakery brand, 'BakeHouse405,' this month.

BakeHouse405 products are characterized by maximizing cost-effectiveness with prices under 2,000 won while delivering bakery-level quality that highlights the natural characteristics of the ingredients. The name was derived from the address of BGF Retail headquarters, which operates CU, located at Teheran 405, symbolizing the ability to enjoy high-quality bread at a professional bakery level.
The Soft Rolling, launching on the 23rd of this month, features a Super Soft concept with a soft and moist texture that can be torn along the grain of the bread. It comes in two flavors: White Custard and Double Choco.
The signature pastry products emphasizing sweetness with the Super Sweet concept will be introduced from the 30th. Customers can enjoy four flavors: Sweet, Choco, Hwang Cheese, and Matcha.
Starting mid-next month, three types of 'Levin Cookies' will also be released. The lineup includes Choco Chips Double Cookie, Salted Caramel Cookie, and Crumble Strawberry Jam Cookie, perfect for pairing with coffee.
To celebrate the launch of the BakeHouse405 series, CU will hold a time discount event throughout September from 7 to 9 a.m. Customers paying with BC Card or KB Card can receive a 30% discount.
