GH to Hire 23 Baby Boomer Interns... Activities Begin from the 18th A baby boomer intern employee of Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation held an appointment ceremony at the Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Technology on the 17th and is taking a commemorative photo.

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has commenced full-scale activities with 23 'Baby Boomer' intern employees selected.


GH announced on the 20th that, in line with the policy direction of the 8th Gyeonggi Province administration, it selected 23 interns to provide economic activity opportunities to the Baby Boomer generation and expand their social participation, and they started working from the 18th.


They will perform tasks such as publication management, housing benefit counseling, and on-site school route safety guidance for eight months until March next year.


Previously, on the 17th, GH held an intern appointment ceremony at the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency Hope Room, where they introduced the overall status of the project and provided mindset training, business manners, and customer counseling education for re-employed individuals.


In this intern recruitment, 110 applicants applied for 27 positions across 12 cities and counties, showing an average competition rate of 4.07 to 1. In particular, Gwacheon recorded a competition rate of 8 to 1 with 8 applicants for 1 position.


However, there were no applicants for four locations?Pyeongtaek, Yangju, Anseong, and Yangpyeong (4 positions).


Kim Se-yong, GH President, said, "Through this recruitment, we were able to reaffirm the Baby Boomer generation's strong willingness for social activity and participation," adding, "We believe that by supporting them to fully utilize their social experience and abilities, we can create various social values."
