On the 14th, the Icheon Police Station booked A (49) without detention on suspicion of attempted property damage and is investigating. A is suspected of causing a disturbance by kicking the front door of the unit where the victim B lives from last month to early this month.

The incident became known after being posted on the online community 'Bobaedream.' The day before, victim B posted an article titled "A woman kicking the front door of the upstairs unit due to noise between floors in a rental apartment," expressing feeling threatened by A, who kicked the front door dozens of times and left.

According to the post, B moved in on the 1st of last month and started receiving noise complaints from A, who lives downstairs, just two weeks after moving in.

B said, "On the 7th of last month, after going out and coming back, I checked the visitors and saw an older woman ringing the doorbell." She added, "A few days later, around 11:30 p.m. on the 14th, someone rang the bell and shook the door handle violently. They shouted from outside the door, 'Stop stomping!'" She continued, "When I said, 'I'm home alone watching TV, so I'm not stomping,' a barrage of curses followed."

A cursed at B, saying, "Stop stomping, you XX," and shook the door handle violently. Startled, B asked, "This is not our house. I'm alone. Why are you coming to someone else's house at this hour?" A shouted, "Come out and fight me!" Eventually, A's husband took her away.

Despite this, A's violent behavior continued. While B was away from home from the 27th to the 31st of last month, A kicked B's front door.

B said, "When I returned home on the 31st, I found marks of someone kicking the front door and instinctively knew it was the downstairs neighbors, but I had no evidence to prove it." She added, "Later, around 11:20 p.m. on August 7th, accompanied by the sound of 8 to 9 strong kicks on the front door, my mother and I felt terrified and reported it to 112 via text message."

Feeling threatened, B installed a closed-circuit television (CCTV) in front of the front door. The CCTV captured A coming and kicking B's front door. In a 46-second video, A kicked the door 29 times.

B said, "I don't understand why she came up and did that when no one was home. It just seems like a simple act of retaliation."

Meanwhile, the police are investigating the detailed circumstances of the incident with A.
