The web novel "MapleStory: The Last Adventurer," inspired by Nexon's popular online game MapleStory, will be released on the 22nd.
This web novel is a spin-off work featuring a different worldview from the original, based on a new story setting where the Maple World heroes failed to stop the Black Mage.
It depicts the adventure story centered around the original character of this work, the last adventurer "El Pam."
On the 22nd, 10 episodes will be released on Naver Series, with one episode published daily for free over six weeks. Afterward, starting from October 3rd, the released episodes will be available as paid content.
This work is written by the author "Didart" and produced by Red Ice Studio.
Meanwhile, Nexon is also working with Red Ice Studio to produce a webtoon based on the web novel, aiming for release within this year.
