Around midnight on the 13th, a vehicle suspected of drunk driving was captured via CCTV in Namseok-ri, Yeongdeok-eup, and the control center operator immediately reported it to the police. The police, upon receiving the report, tracked the suspected drunk driving vehicle's route in real-time together with the Integrated Control Center and apprehended the driver. The driver was confirmed to be in a state of severe intoxication, warranting license cancellation based on the breathalyzer results.

The Integrated Control Center plays a decisive role not only in solving and preventing crimes occurring within the jurisdiction such as drunk driving, hit-and-run, theft, and assault but also helped locate and safely return a missing dementia patient for the first time in May. Furthermore, during the recent approach of Typhoon No. 6 ‘Khanun,’ the center meticulously monitored areas expected to suffer from strong winds and heavy rainfall, focusing on river flooding and inundation risk zones. At the same time, it promptly responded to facility damages caused by the typhoon, preventing additional casualties and property damage.

In particular, the center contributed to swift responses without further damage by promptly relaying information and coordinating closely with relevant county departments and local offices in situations where secondary damage was a concern, such as soil runoff on slopes in Daeri, Yeonghae-myeon, and damage to poles and signboards near Donggwang Fish Market in Ganggu-myeon.

County Governor Kim Gwang-yeol encouraged the control center operators and public officials in charge of the Integrated Control Center for their proactive and preemptive measures and urged them to continue doing their best for the safety of the residents.
