At that time, KBS broadcasted the performance live and credited the original artist of the song as the group "Dongbangshinki." However, the song was originally released by the band "Daseot Songarak" in 1986.

However, the song was originally released by the band 'Daseot Songarak' (Five Fingers) in 1986. Dongbangshinki (TVXQ) remade the song in 2006.

In response, Lee Dooheon of the band Daseot Songarak, known as the original singer and lyricist of "Pungseon," posted on his Facebook on the afternoon of the 11th, "Jamboree Super Concert finale song 'Pungseon,' was the original creator’s permission obtained?" and added, "Even if prior permission is assumed, Dongbangshinki? I think I should receive an apology for this."

Lee Dooheon also added at the end of his post, "I am not voluntary." This appears to be a sarcastic reference to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event organizer, emphasizing 'voluntariness' after the group IVE adjusted their schedule to appear late and HYBE donated goods worth hundreds of millions of won.

As the post was turned into an article and the controversy grew, Lee Duheon expressed his opinion by posting a new message on Facebook on the 13th.

Meanwhile, it is not always necessary to obtain prior permission from the original creator when performing or broadcasting another singer’s song. However, it is common courtesy to seek permission in many cases. The issue here is the crediting of the original creator. According to current copyright law, the copyright holder of a song has the right to have their real name or pseudonym displayed as the original creator on performances or broadcasts of the song.
