‘2023 Style Run with Songpa-gu’ Held

A Very Special RUN Around Jamsil, Co-hosted with Lotte Department Store

Songpa-gu (District Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that, following last year, it will co-host the ‘Style Run with Songpa-gu’ again this year on October 7th at 8 a.m. at the lawn plaza of Jamsil Lotte World Tower World Park, together with Lotte Department Store.

‘Style Run with Songpa-gu’ starts at the lawn plaza of Jamsil Lotte World Tower and follows a course around Olympic Park, featuring two categories: 7k and 12k. The 7k course is popular among runners who find 10k still challenging, and it is expected that beginner runners interested in running can participate with less burden.

Also, as the run departs from traffic-controlled Jamsil and proceeds, participants will be able to fully enjoy the scenery of Olympic Park transitioning from the hot summer into autumn.

This RUN continues last year’s theme of music baton with the main concept of being ‘a bit crazy about photography,’ offering participants the opportunity to have their running moments directly photographed. The after-party held after the run is also an attractive highlight unique to Style Run.

Registration opens on August 16th at 10 a.m. via the Lotte Department Store Mall APP or website and will close upon reaching 5,000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The participation fee is 40,000 KRW regardless of category, and commemorative gifts include a running T-shirt, sports gym sack, and waterproof film camera.
