Typhoon No. 6 'Khanun' made landfall on the southern coast of Gyeongnam, and on the morning of the 10th, traces of strong winds and heavy rain were emerging across various parts of the Busan area.
The 'nun' in Khanun made landfall near Geoje around 9:20 a.m., bringing strong winds and heavy rain as it moved northward. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted a central pressure of 975 hPa at landfall, a maximum wind speed of 32 m/s, and classified the intensity as 'medium.'
The Busan police are blocking vehicle traffic in flooded areas and carrying out recovery measures such as clearing street trees and structures damaged by strong winds.

About an hour before the typhoon made landfall, at around 8:30 a.m., a large street tree was toppled by strong winds in Yangjeong-dong, Busanjin-gu, leading to traffic control and subsequent removal efforts.
At 8:15 a.m., the area in front of the Marine Natural History Museum in Dongnae-gu was flooded by water pouring down from nearby mountains, resulting in the closure of one lane out of two on a one-way road.
At 5 a.m., nine sections of the central divider over a 100-meter stretch on Gajeong-ro in Yeonje-gu were damaged, and the Yeonje police completed removal operations.
At around 7:20 a.m., the road in front of Busan Department Store in Jung-gu was flooded, and at 7:40 a.m., the intersection near Saha Police Station was flooded, leading to road closures.

Earlier, on the evening of the 9th at 8:20 p.m., a tower crane in Saha-gu was at risk of toppling due to strong winds, prompting the district office to block the road with a forklift.
Also, at 11:10 p.m., the Choryang No. 1 and No. 2 underpasses were submerged by rainwater, leading the Dongbu Police Station to control vehicle traffic.
Busan Buk-gu issued a landslide warning at 9:52 a.m. on the 10th, alerting citizens to prepare for evacuation in case of emergencies.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters urged residents to evacuate immediately if water rises in semi-basement houses or underground shopping areas and requested that access to flooded areas be prohibited to check parked vehicles.
As of 9:30 a.m. on the day, a total of 31 locations in Busan were under traffic control. These include 2 locations in the northern area (Hwamyung Ecological Park, Sanseong-ro), 1 in Sasang (Samnak Ecological Park), 3 in Gangseo (Daejeo, Maekdo Ecological Park, Eco Delta City internal roads), 2 in Gijang (Mugok Underpass, Wolcheon Bridge), 4 in Dongnae (Sebyeong Bridge, Yeonan Bridge, Suyeon Bridge, Ujangchun-ro), 3 in Dongbu (Choryang No. 1 & 2 underpasses, Jin Market underpass), 1 in Gangseo (Geoga Bridge), 1 in Seobu (Songdo Beach Road), 1 in Geumjeong (Yeongnak Park underpass), 2 in Nambu (Sinseondae underpass, Gwang-an Beach Road), and 6 in Haeundae (Marine City 1-ro, Sewol Bridge, Mipo to X the Sky, Centum Piore back gate entrance, Cheongsapo entrance, Gudeokpo entrance).
Marine bridges such as Eulsukdo Bridge, Busan Port Bridge, Gwang-an Bridge, Namhang Bridge, and Cheonmasan Tunnel are also under control.
