The second store operates as a flagship store, fueled by strong sales performance of the first store, which opened last April in the LaLaport shopping mall in Taichung, Taiwan.
The Xinyi area in Taipei, where the second National Geographic Apparel store is located, is a key commercial district known as a symbolic area for shopping and entertainment among not only couples but also people in their teens and twenties, as it is adjacent to large department stores in Taiwan and filled with various attractions including cinemas. Additionally, the nearby Taipei 101 landmark observatory attracts a large number of tourists and passersby.
Since its pre-opening on the 28th of last month, the second National Geographic Apparel store has achieved cumulative sales of approximately 120 million KRW, recording an average daily sales of 15 million KRW on weekdays and 20 million KRW per day on weekends.
To commemorate the opening of the second store, The Nature Holdings also held a grand opening ceremony and customer participation programs to enhance brand awareness of National Geographic.
A representative from The Nature Holdings stated, "We continuously sense a preference for National Geographic's unique brand heritage in the Greater China market," adding, "Based on this, we expect to steadily drive strong performance in the global markets where we have entered."
