Busan City has published the ‘Busan-style Road Name Storytelling Travel Book,’ which introduces Busan’s tourist attractions centered around road names.

This book introduces the origins and the history and culture related to 56 road sections where Busan’s representative attractions are located, such as Yi Sun-sin-daero in Jung-gu and Dong-gu, Biff Square-ro in Jung-gu, Songdo Beach-ro in Seo-gu, and Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae-gu, along with 161 nearby tourist spots.

Since 2018, the city has been publishing the Busan-style Road Name Storytelling Travel Book annually.

In particular, to allow visitors to Busan to experience the city’s charm in greater detail, the front part of this book includes the ‘Top 10 Busan Galmaetgil Trails,’ which are beautiful walking paths where nature and the city blend harmoniously, as well as the ‘Busan City Tour Bus Route Map.’

Additionally, the book contains detailed information about the changing address system, enabling people to easily find unfamiliar roads by using road name addresses in daily life.

The ‘Busan-style Road Name Storytelling Travel Book’ is available at city tours, tourist information centers, city and district/county civil service offices, and can also be accessed online as an e-book on the Busan City website.

Im Gyeong-mo, Director of the Urban Planning Bureau, stated, “We expect this Road Name Storytelling Travel Book to not only serve as a guide for visitors to Busan but also contribute to enhancing the city’s appeal.”
