Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) will conduct the "Second Half Civil Defense Cyber First Supplementary Training" by October 4 to enhance the emergency response capabilities of civil defense members.
The training targets about 2,400 civil defense members in their 3rd year or above, aged 20 to 40, residing in Mapo-gu, who have not completed the cyber training in the first half of the year, out of approximately 20,000 eligible members.
For the convenience of the trainees, the district will send electronic notifications (AlimTalk) using KakaoPay, Naver, and other platforms by the 9th.
The cyber training can be completed by logging into the Civil Defense Cyber Training website with personal authentication; 3rd to 4th year members must complete 2 hours of training, while members with 5 or more years must complete 1 hour.
Notably, the training is accessible not only via PC but also smartphones, allowing easy completion anytime and anywhere.
A civil defense official from the district stated, "Civil defense members who fail to complete the annual training will be fined, so please adhere to the deadline. Also, starting this year, blood donation participation will no longer be recognized as fulfilling civil defense training, so please be aware."
Mayor Park Gang-su emphasized, "Civil defense training is education to protect our families and communities in the event of civil defense situations or disasters. Active participation and a sense of responsibility from civil defense members are essential for the security and safety of our hometown."
The district announced plans to conduct civil defense training for air raid preparedness linked with the Eulji Exercise at 2 p.m. on the 23rd.
