August 26 and September 2: One-on-one customized consultations with university admissions officers and education experts

Pre-registration opens from 10 AM on August 7 via the education portal ‘Gangdong Mirae ON’

Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Suhee) will operate the '2024 Academic Year Early Admission University Consultation Room' by inviting top experts in the field of college admissions to help local examinees and parents systematically prepare for the complex and diverse early admission processes.

This consultation room will be held over two days, August 26 and September 2, at the Gangdong-gu Future Education Innovation Center (395 Gucheonmyeon-ro, Gangdong-gu). In particular, to accommodate parents and students, considering academic schedules and working parents, it will operate on weekends (Saturdays) from 9 AM to 6 PM.

In response to the frequent changes in university admission evaluation criteria, making accurate and precise information more important, the district has invited top experts such as former university admissions officers and specialized counseling teachers affiliated with the Korea Council for University Education as consultants.

The consultations will be conducted intensively for 50 minutes one-on-one, tailored to the examinee’s situation to establish the optimal school and major application strategy. Participants are encouraged to bring materials such as their June mock exam score reports and school records for a more systematic consultation.

Those wishing to participate in the ‘2024 Academic Year Early Admission University Consultation Room’ can pre-register on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 AM on August 7 until August 21 through the integrated education portal Gangdong Mirae ON.
