Interview in Progress to Select Final KT CEO Candidate... Individual Evaluation of 3 Candidates

KT is conducting in-depth interviews on the 4th at a hotel in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, to select the final candidate for the new CEO.

Attention is focused on who will be appointed as the new CEO to end the management vacuum crisis.

The KT Board Candidate Recommendation Committee is holding interview evaluations from the morning at a hotel located in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, to choose the final candidate for the next CEO.

Chasanggyun, a professor at Seoul National University and a candidate on the list, entered the interview room around 10 a.m.

The other candidates, former LG CNS CEO Kim Youngseop and former KT President Park Yoonyoung, are also expected to appear one by one at the interview room sequentially.

Once the final candidate is selected, KT plans to hold an extraordinary shareholders' meeting at the end of this month to vote on the appointment of the new CEO.

The appointment proposal must receive approval from more than 60% of the shares attending the meeting, and the approval rate must be at least 25% of the total shares for the proposal to pass.
