A stabbing incident occurred at a high school located in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon. The police are currently pursuing the suspect, and the victim has been transported to a hospital for treatment.

According to the fire department on the 4th, at around 10:03 a.m., a man who unlawfully entered the high school stabbed a teacher in his 40s with a weapon and fled the scene.

The fire department responded to the report, transported the victim to the hospital, and the police are currently tracking the suspect.

According to witness statements secured by the police, the suspect searched for the victim teacher in the staff office that day, waited outside the classroom for about an hour after being told the teacher was in class, and stabbed the teacher multiple times in the arm with a weapon as the teacher exited the classroom before fleeing.

Based on these circumstances, the police suspect that the suspect and the victim were acquaintances.
