"Calling All Billiards Players Nationwide" ... Goseong County to Host Gyeongnam Goseong County Governor's Cup National Billiards Tournament

Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province will host the "2023 Gyeongnam Goseong-gun Mayor's Cup National Billiards Tournament" from the 29th to August 2nd at the Goseong-gun National Sports Center and Goseong-gun Weightlifting Stadium.

Hosted by the Korea Billiards Federation and organized by the Gyeongnam Billiards Federation, this tournament will feature a total of 1,064 participants, including 796 amateur athletes (club players) and 268 professional athletes.

The tournament will include events in Carom 3-Cushion, Snooker, Pocket 9-Ball, Pocket 10-Ball, and English Billiards. From the 29th to the 30th, competitions will be held for professional student athletes and amateur athletes, while from the 31st to August 2nd, matches will be held for professional adult athletes.

Mayor Sang-geun Lee said, "I am pleased that the Gyeongnam Goseong-gun Mayor's Cup National Billiards Championship, held for the fourth consecutive year, has become a source of daily vitality for club players and an opportunity for growth for professional athletes. Meanwhile, on August 2nd, the Goseong-gun National Sports Center and Goseong-gun Weightlifting Stadium will be filled with sports enthusiasm as the "2023 Gyeongnam Goseong-gun Mayor's Cup National Billiards Tournament" and the finals of the "60th Cheongnyonggi National High School Soccer Tournament" at the Goseong-gun Sports Complex will take place.
